PASUC'S CULTURAL, ARTS FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MANILA

THE Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (Pasuc) has geared up for the 11th National Culture and the Arts Festival, which started on Tuesday and culminates today, April 25, in Manila.

Hosted by the Philippine Normal University (PNU), the event brings together talented student artists and performers from state universities and colleges nationwide.

Under the theme "Bidlisiw: Paghilom, Pagbangon at Pagsulong," the competition serves as an avenue for delegates from 16 regions in the country to exhibit their talents and skills in the spirit of friendly competition across various categories such as music, dance, visual arts and dramatic arts.

Before advancing to this national stage, participants from the 16 regions have undergone stringent preliminary competitions at the school, district and regional levels.

This season, the National Capital Region has the honor of hosting the Pasuc competitions, continuing the equitable rotation cycle across Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.

The public is invited to join the festivities at multiple venues across the city, including PNU, the Metropolitan Theater, Kartilya ng Katipunan, the DZRH radio drama booth, and Arroceros Urban Forest Park.

Admission is free, but seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis due to anticipated high attendance.
